MESSI: NEYMAR CAN BE THE BEST IN THE WORLD.

The Argentine has revealed that he has a great

Lionel Messi believes that
Barcelona team-mate Neymar can
become the best player in the
world.

The Brazil international joined the
Blaugrana from Santos last
summer but endured a turbulent
first season in Camp Nou that was
blighted by injury problems and off-field
controversy related to
the specifics of his transfer.

However, after recovering from a fractured
vertebra sustained
at the World Cup, Neymar is now thriving at Camp
Nou, having
hit seven goals in his first seven appearances in
all
competitions - and Messi feels that the 22-year-
old is now only
going to go from strength to strength.

"It's only his second year here, but I have a great
relation with
Neymar, both on and off the pitch," the Argentine
told
reporters on Thursday. "He's a great kid.

"Because of his potential, I think Neymar could
become the
best in the world. He's a great player; it's a
pleasure to play
with him."

While Messi has netted six times himself already
this term, he
has already racked up just as many assists and
the four-time
Ballon d'Or winner admitted that his role within the
Barca attack has altered slightly under new coach Luis
Enrique.

"I changed my way of playing this season
because the other
forwards play more in the centre now," the 27-
year-old
explained. "Before we played with real wingers.

"I've always given assists but with other
forwards playing more
in centre, there are more passing options [for me]
now."
